CollegeNET Unveils Newest Version of Admit Application Evaluation System
Web-based Evaluation Tool Now Easily Configures to Each Department's Specific Needs
Portland, Ore., December 9, 2011
CollegeNET, Inc., a leading provider of Web-based on-demand technologies for higher education, today unveiled version 2.0 of its Admit™ application evaluation system. Admit is part of CollegeNET's software-as-a-service (SaaS) Intelligent Connections® application processing system, which streamlines the entire admissions application process, from inquiry and submission through review and notification. The newest version of Admit offers a highly flexible modular system that gives individual programs and departments the ability to configure their own evaluation environment to their individual needs.
Using Admit's new Layout Editor, departments can configure the look and content of their application information displays and evaluation forms. By designating their own layouts, each department can make system navigation more relevant to their needs thus streamlining the evaluation process. The new system also allows departments to modify their applicant Checklist to accurately represent the requirements for their applicant pool. Supplemental documents, such as letters of recommendation, can also be easily uploaded to the applicant's file, even when sent after the application has been submitted. Together, these new features make the online evaluation process easier and more efficient than ever before.
"Since its launch last year, the Admit product has provided institutions with the convenience of 24/7 accessibility while eliminating paper waste, circulation time and the risk of lost documents," said Patricia Summers, vice president at CollegeNET, Inc. "We know application requirements vary widely within each institution, so we wanted to offer our customers an alternative to a one-size-fits-all solution. Admit is a modular system, which gives our customers a much more flexible, useful and time-saving tool."
Admit 2.0 is available now as a free upgrade to current Intelligent Connections users. For more information, please contact CollegeNET at 503-973-5200 or at sales@collegenet.com.
